There are classes for all levels of racers, beginning with "Baby Karts" for age 5 and above. (see list below)

Rookie Status
All new drivers and/or drivers who have not competed in a kart racing event during the prior calendar year will be required to attend a Driver Orientation to Karting class provided at no charge by Miller Motorsports Park. Please contact the Kart Center for class dates and times. Once this class has been completed, the driver will be required to start at the back of each grid for at least three race event weekends. The driver's ability will be evaluated by the Race Director and his/her officials. Once this has been completed, the driver may request that his/her rookie status be dropped. Any driver wishing to compete in a Miller Motorsports Park event who has competed in a local, regional, or national event (e.g., CSC, Skusa, Gatorz) during the prior calendar year will need to provide proof of participation (printed results from mylaps.com, for example). It will be the driver's responsibility to provide those documents to the Race Director. All drivers who have rookie status shall have an orange number panel on the rear of the kart at all times (practice and race). This also applies to Test and Tune sessions.

Rotax Max Racers Competitor Update 01-08

Per RMax Challenge Technical Regulations Section 3

18.6 No additional cooling device is allowed. Tape applied AROUND the radiator is the only allowed air flow control. Tape may NOT be removed from the radiator during operation on the track. All other means of air flow control throught the radiator are prohibited.


Both the Litho Flexo Championships and Rodizo Grill Karting Championships follow RMax Challenge regulations tape must go around the radiator and tape removal during operation will result in a DQ.
